Iran Calls for Peace and Lasting Security for the People of Ukraine

The President of Iran at the 79th session of the United Nations General Assembly: We call for peace and lasting security for the people of Ukraine and Russia. The Islamic Republic of Iran while opposing war and emphasizing the need for the rapid cessation of military conflicts in Ukraine supports any peaceful solution and believes that the Ukraine crisis can only be resolved through dialogue.
