Call for Entry The 29th Hamedan International Theater Festival for Children Young Adults Iran
Dramatic Arts Center of Iran (DAC) is pleased to inform you that the 29th International Theater Festival for Children Young
Adults will take place from November 1st to 7th 2024 in Hamedan Iran.
We highly appreciate if you could send the new production of your company. The application should reach by the deadline of
the September 10th 2024. The selection Committee will announce the invited international guest Performances through
international affairs office of Dramatic Arts center.
Dramatic Arts Center of Iran (DAC) is pleased to inform you that the 29th International Theater Festival for Children &Young
Adults will take place from November 1st to 7th ,2024 in Hamedan, Iran.
We highly appreciate if you could send the new production of your company. The application should reach by the deadline of
the September 10th ,2024. The selection Committee will announce the invited international guest Performances through
international affairs office of Dramatic Arts center.
Note: In this edition of the festival, for the first time, a 500 US D prize for the best creative director and a 500 US D prize for the
best acting or creative puppeteer will be awarded by the festival director to honor the production of creative works for children
and teenagers in the International Section.
The festival will be held uncompetitive in international Section.
The axes of the festival will be:
A) New productions of theatre companies in both sections:
* Stage Performances
* Outdoor Performances (All genre of street theatre)
Note: The Festival will provide full accommodation, 3 meals per day, airport pick up services and local transportation for
accepted groups. Other issues will be discussed and agreed by mutual negotiations.
B) Educational Section:
*Holding Educational workshops by theatre experts:
- the proposal of workshop and the holder’s CV should be sent for festival and after assessment, the teacher will send the plan
of his/her workshop in detail for arrangement in festival.
Note: The Festival will provide travel Expenses, full accommodation, 3 meals per day, airport pick up services and local
transportation for accepted workshop proposals and high-quality educational projects.
C) International Theatre festival’s directors & Influencer’s presence in Festival:
*Participating in Festival as: company director, theatre curator, theatre marketing activists and theatre influencers by the aim of
selecting Iranian performances for Foreign International Theatre Festivals and Foreign Theatre Companies under supervision of
Dramatic Arts Center of Iran for cultural exchanges in drama field.
- The applicant should send his/her CV in the mentioned field to be assessed by festival.
Note: The Festival will provide full accommodation, 3 meals per day, airport pick up services and local transportation for
accepted individual guests. Other issues will be discussed and agreed by mutual negotiations.
